There's no doubt that Alta Motors has made some waves within the motocross community with their all-new, fully-electric dirt bike; the Alta REDSHIFT MX. This revolutionary machine isn't to be taken lightly, as it's been proven to perform even in a race scenario thanks to Josh Hill who piloted the REDSHIFT MX to its first-ever win in competition at last year's Red Bull Straight Rhythm. Although the American based brand is determined to one day become as established as their Japanese competitors, Alta still faces a few tough critics out there, so to show everyone what these bikes are all about they loaded up half a dozen REDSHIFT MXs and headed to the 2017 TransWorld SLAM for riders to enjoy a free demo. We caught up with Alta Motors' John Bekefy that afternoon to hear about everyone's reactions about their first rides on the electric dirt bikes.
